Keto Walnut, Hazelnut and Chocolate Cake: Recipe!

If you are looking for an irresistible keto cake, you are in the right place! This cake was born from a mistake, but it turned out to be a real culinary breakthrough. A delicious fusion between the soft texture of a margherita and the enveloping taste of a tart, enriched with walnuts, hazelnuts and dark chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 400 g Almond flour
  • 80 g Coconut flour
  • 100 g erythritol
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 100 g walnuts
  • 20 g yeast (or Cream of Tartar)
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 egg whites
  • 100 g of butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Coarsely chop the walnuts and dark chocolate.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, coconut flour, erythritol, and baking powder.
  4. Add the eggs and the two lightly beaten egg whites to the dry mixture and mix well until you obtain a smooth dough.
  5. Add the melted butter, mix well and then add the chopped walnuts and dark chocolate.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and level the surface.
  7. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Once cooked, let it cool before cutting it into portions and enjoying it.
